A great kichen definately increases the saleability of your property. One of the key aspects purchasers have in mind when deciding on their new home is the kitchen which is generally considered the heart of the home. First impressions count and most people would prefer to have their dream kitchen already installed.
The decision whether to install a brand new kitchen before putting your property on the market is a tricky one. We would always recommend that you talk to your selling agent before making any decision. They can advise you if such an investment is worthwhile. In many cases a new kitchen can add significantly more value to your property than the price of the kitchen itself.
If you feel reluctant to install a new kitchen before putting your house on the market, we would be happy to draw up plans to show potential purchasers how the layout of the kitchen could be. Many purchasers would find such a plan beneficial. A plan would enable them to see how their new kitchen could look but would also allow them to tweak the design or style of the kitchen should they decide to buy your property. Top Tip
If you can’t stretch to a brand new kitchen to sell your home, smarten up the paintwork, clear away all the clutter from the work surfaces, make sure everything is spotlessly clean and keep the pets out!

Top Tip
Look at your finances. If you’ve found the house you like but want to replace the kitchen ensure you do your sums. A kitchen is a worthwhile investment and is likely to add value to your home but its always worth knowing the cost before you commit to buying the house.
His and Hers Wardrobes
These HIS and HERS wardrobes were commissioned by our clients, Gorden and Paddy and were handcrafted to measure to ensure a snug fit in the recesses of the bedroom.
Dresser
This dresser was commissioned by our client, Louise Watts. Louise chose a vibrant yellow to compliment the colour of the room.

Kitchen Refurbishment / Kitchen Island
Marcus & Isabel Brooks commissioned Old Image to replace their old kitchen with a bespoke solid wood kitchen. The team completely gutted the kitchen while the new kitchen was being made. The refurbishment included new wiring, damp proofing, plastering decorating and the repair to the quarry tiled floor. The Brooks are over the moon with their new kitchen.

Recent Project – Kitchen Island
This kitchen island was manufactured and hand painted to match the distressed look of the existing kitchen for our clients, Mr and Mrs Standen in Seven Oaks, Kent. It was delivered just in time for Christmas.

I’m really glad Rolf’s been able to express himself here and there, and especially on the overmantle, complete with condom drawers! I was also impressed by the quality of materials used, down to the fine layered plywood on the rear that will give the whole thing added strength and solidity. It really is a masterpiece.”
