Understair Cupboard & Kitchen – Completed Works
Further to our post dated 5th February 2011, below you can see the completed kitchen and understair cupboard commissioned by our clients Tim and Pauline from Marshfield, Nr Bath. You can see from the unique design that Old Image has made practical use of difficult and sometimes wasted space. A stairwell is often a difficult area to make use of and Tim and Pauline’s understair cupboard is a wonderful example of how to transform the space into a useful yet attractive piece of bespoke fitted furniture.
New Kitchen & Under Stair Unit – Work in Progress
We are currently manufacturing a new kitchen and under-stair cupboard for our clients, Tim and Pauline, in Marshfield, Nr Bath. Below are some of the kitchen units along with the under stair cupboard which are now ready for the paint room. We will post pictures of the finished items in situ as soon as we can.
Work in Progress – Hotel in Central Bristol
We are currently manufacturing various items for our client, Andrew Brooks, for his hotel in central Bristol. The hotel is undergoing extensive refurbishment and Andrew has commissioned a new kitchen and various other bespoke items that we are currently working on. These items include new entrance gates (now ready for painting) to replace the existing ugly metal gates (shown below) and various display units which will eventually form part of the hotel’s reception area. We will post pictures of these finished items in due course. We will also feature before and after pictures of the hotel’s new kitchen as soon as we have these.
Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes
These stunning bespoke fitted wardrobes were manufactured for our clients in Portishead.
Carefully handcrafted using traditional joinery techniques and hand painted in white. Expertly fitted to ensure total peace of mind.
Remember, Old Image can design and manufacture items to meet your individual requirements so difficult dimensions or awkward spaces are not a problem. Choose from painted or natural reclaimed wood.

This beautiful day bed was manufactured for our clients in Portishead.
Attention Hair Salons & Barbers
Old Image is famed for it’s kitchens and bespoke furniture but it is the first time we’ve carried out any work in a hair salon. We designed and manufactured the above display shelving for our client, Simon Johnson, of Sisu Hairdressing Ltd in White Ladies Road in Clifton. Thank you Simon for allowing us to feature your shelving on our blog. As with all our products the shelving was handmade and hand finished.

They say a man’s home is his castle, and we all know that every castle needs a fantastic kitchen and this is exactly what you can get from Old Image. Steering away from the designs you would expect to find in that store with big orange letters on the outskirts of town (the place i refer to also sells power tools, paint, lights, blah blah blah, etc) Old Image offers imaginative and original designs which are adaptable and made to measure. As well as being indefinably stunning, many of the kitchen’s available here have also been made from either recycled timber or timber that has been sourced from sustainable resources. I’m a big lover of individual, contemporary design and when I am able to buy my own kitchen, Old Image is definitely the place I shall be visiting.
